6 Bathroom Trends Designers Are Seeing in 2024 and Beyond
As a modern farmhouse designer, it’s part of my job to stay ahead of trends friend…
So last week my designer buddies and I linked up and analyzed the top 6 trends that are taking over American homes’ bathrooms.
(And will most likely be present in your bathroom by 2030)
Ready? Let’s go!
1. Soft Colors:
Soft, neutral colors like warm whites and beiges are trending because they create a serene and welcoming environment, evoking a sense of calm and cleanliness that is desirable in bathrooms.
2. Bold Accents
The use of saturated, earthy tones as accents is growing in popularity due to their ability to add depth and personality to a space without overwhelming it. These colors can also complement the neutral bases popular today.
3. Luxury Features
Features like steam showers and heated floors are trending as people seek more at-home spa experiences, especially following increased home time due to recent global events.
4. Unique Details
Handcrafted tiles and custom cabinetry are trending as more homeowners desire unique, personalized spaces that stand out and reflect their tastes and the artisanal quality adds a luxurious touch.
5. Fancy Lights
Decorative and ambient lighting are trending as lighting technology advances, allowing for more personalized and dramatic interiors. These fixtures serve both aesthetic and practical purposes, enhancing the room's design.
6. Classic Storage
The resurgence of the medicine cabinet is linked to a growing appreciation for vintage and retro styles, as well as a practical need for efficient storage solutions in bathroom designs.
