Look friend,

If there’s one thing that I’ve learned in over 14 years as designer is that the best way to come up with amazing ideas is to look at other homes.

That’s it, no way around it.

So today I’m back with 6 beautiful interior designs you can take inspiration from.

Here we go!

1. Boost Character with Rustic Accessories

A white living room with alcove shelving is the perfect canvas for introducing rustic accessories. Utilizing a palette of neutral colors and earth tones, complemented by rustic accents in furniture or millwork, can enrich a modern farmhouse interior.

2. Balance Traditional and Contemporary Decor

In a blue bedroom adorned with toile wallpaper, the harmony of old and new is essential. Starting with a classic wallpaper style, continue by adding elements that complement this theme, such as traditionally inspired furnishings.

3. Focus on Introducing Textures

For a kitchen featuring a blue-painted island and leather barstools, emphasizing varied textures is crucial. Combining smooth, high gloss surfaces like beadboard or wainscoting with rough, organic materials such as wood and leather can enhance the space’s warmth and authenticity, making it both functional and inviting.

4. Celebrate Nature in Materials and Colors

Drawing inspiration from the outdoors is a fantastic way to design a living room. Opt for furniture that echoes natural elements, like mid-century style sofas in green, positioned to complement features like an original stone fireplace.

5. Explore Contrasting Colors

While a neutral base is fundamental, introducing pops of color like grays, navy blues, and dark greens can add depth and interest. Painting natural materials or walls in these hues can shift a space from a traditional rural to a more contemporary farmhouse style.

6. Pick Natural Materials for Flooring

Choosing natural materials for flooring can significantly enhance the farmhouse's appeal. Using wood and stones not only in furniture but also as the foundation of your home adds a timeless quality. Accessorize with soft rugs over hard flooring and mix fabrics like linens and velvets on furniture to create a dynamic yet cohesive look.

And that’s all for today friend,

I hope you got some good ideas that you can implement in your home right away.
